Artist - Nellie Nampeyo

Nellie Nampeyo was born in 1896 as the daughter of famed potter Nampeyo. She worked alongside her mother as pottery was a family business and everyone helped with the work. Nampeyo's knack for design and excellent craftsmanship made her pottery some of the most well known in the Southwest. Her designs are owned by her family and Nellie continued her legacy through her work with her mother and after her death.
